AS HEAD OF DESIGN FOR Time Out (North America), Tova was regularly tasked with conceptualizing and executing engaging magazine covers for not only the brand’s regular street distribution, but equally as important, for their social platforms. With this in mind, she worked closely with the brand’s engagement editor to evaluate and strategize best practices for all visual content on their social platforms based on insights and analytics. She oversaw all design needs for the brand’s social platforms, including Instagram Stories, in-feed posts and sponsored content. Below are a few samples of the digital-exclusive content Tova produced.


AS ASSOCIATE ART DIRECTOR FOR O, The Oprah Magazine, Tova oversaw and executed the art direction, design and animation for the brand’s Instagram and other social accounts. In collaboration with the social media editor, she regularly covered live events (remotely) to create timely designed content (award shows, Oprah Winfrey speeches and appearances, etc.) and created social-exclusive content. Above all, she worked to visually unite the social platform with its print magazine counterpart. Her collaborative efforts with the social media editor to increase engagement and a stronger visual identity for the brand’s Instagram resulted in an increase in followers by five times during her tenure.
